A man has met his untimely death in a village called Pitiku which is under Kwahu South District when he was stabbed to death by his friend.
His name given as Kuma was stabbed to death by his friend over misunderstanding which erupted into fight between him and his friend.
Narrating the incident to ghmunsem.com, Mr. Bessah, one of the opinion leaders in the village said that the two friends have gone out to drink on the new year eve and they went to the deceased friend’s house. Kuma was playing with his friend’s wife and according to Mr Bessah, Kuma’s friend didn’t like it.
This ended into a fight and he went for a knife to stab Kuma. He was rushed to Atibie Government hospital but he was pronounced dead after few hours because he bled profusely before getting to the hospital.
Kwahu Tafo Police have arrested the man and he has been charged with murder
The body of the deceased has been deposited at Atibie Government Hospital morgue.
