Central SRC – UDS Appoints First Female Public Relations Officer (PRO)

A 23-year-old female Family and Consumer Science student was on Friday, 11th September, 2020 appointed as the first female public relations officer for Central – Students Representative Council of University for Development Studies (UDS).

Miss Abubakari Mariam Nyempolo was appointed by H.E Otoo Christopher, the current president of the Central – Students Representative Council in the handing over ceremony at UDS – Tamale Conference Room.

In an interview with Kumikasa.com, Miss Mariam assures the students’ body of competent and transparent leadership, “I intend to contribute massively towards the betterment of UDS Nyankpala campus and the institution as a whole” she said.

She however thank the president for having faith in her, “I’m really grateful to Allah for this and then to my president Otoo Christopher, for the trust he has placed in me, I will serve the students of UDS to my full capacity and more” she added.
