Published

Ghanaian sound engineer and highlife musician Voltage known in the private life as Kwadwo Opare Addo has said ghanaian Disk Jockeys do not play good songs, thats why Ghana Music is no where to be identified in sister countries like Nigeria and South Africa.

Accordingto Voltage, a good song is one which contain meaningful content and message, suppose to be a hit song, but it isn’t like that in Ghana-meaning a high percentage of hit songs by ghanaian musicians are bad, if he says ghanaian djs do not play good songs. That is, almost all the songs played on-air are totally bad.

He further went on to say that ghanaian musicians are fond of practicing plagiarism which I think he said with reference to Kuami Eugene and Adane Best’s issue.

Voltage made all these known in an interview with Host, Yoofi Eyeson on ‘Ofie Ne Fie’ Show on Spice FM 91.9 in Takoradi.

Voltage, a sound engineer produced songs of Daddy Lumber, Wutah, R2bees and others a time ago. He is currently preparing somthing sweet for Ghanaians.
