Gospel Musician Kofi Sarpong Changes Name

Gospel Musician and Police officer SP Kofi Sarpong is now Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP).

The “Borborbor” hit maker revealed this on Zylofone 102.1 FM’s sunday gospel show dubbed “SOUL WINNERS SHOW” hosted by Kwadwo Boateng Coxbi.

The hardworking and fast growing artist came into the Ghanaian gospel Music Industry in 2009 with his maiden album “SACRIFICE” which had “TO NNWOM” and other inspiring songs.

He joined the police service 22 years ago but came into the limelight as a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and got promoted to superintendent of police (SP) in 2016 due to his enviable record and hard work in the service.

The energetic gospel musician fellowships at the Presbyterian Church of Ghana and started singing in the choir at the age of 12 in Berekum. He is married to Mrs. Salomey Sarpong and has children.
