Born Darryl Paa Kwesi Bannerman-Martin, known in showbiz as Joey B has revealed that his stardom was prophesied by legend music producer and CEO of The Last Two music group, Da’ Hammer, on the very first day he set eyes on him.

“I found myself doing music during my university days, I was writing songs for my friends and other people, but I wasn’t serious about it. Until one day I was in my hostel and I received a strange call from a man asking whether I was busy,” Joey B told DJ Advicer on Happy FM ‘s Ayekoo After Drive show .

“I told him yes and I asked who he was and he was still insisting on what I was doing and I told him I was busy. Then he said, I am Hammer, ‘Last Two’, there I shouted and said No! But seriously on that day I had lectures but I had to let go.”

“Upon reaching his destination and he listening to my song, he held my hand and said I was going to be a star! Yes, I mean he prophesied I was going to be a star,” he added.

Joey B has hit songs like ‘Tonga’ and ‘Strawberry’ and is currently promoting his new single titled ‘Nsa’
