‘Heaven Knows I Tried My Best’ – Patapaa Speaks After 2018 VGMAs Snub

Patapaa, unfortunately, left the 2018 VGMA’s disappointed as he was expecting to win the Most Popular Song of the Year Award. However, Fancy Gadam’s Total Cheat song featuring Sarkodie was adjudged the 2018 VGMA Most Popular Song of the Year.

Reacting to the disappointment, Patapaa took to social media specifically twitter and surprisingly opted to seek consolation in God. According to Patapaa, he did his best in the year under review especially with “One Corner” song but God knows best how come he lost it. He posted that;

“God’s time is the best. Everything happens for a reason. Heaven knows I tried my best.
#VGMA2018″.

On records, Patapaa rose to fame in 2017 with the “One Corner” song and its accompanying ‘crazy’ dance. Interestingly, the aforementioned artiste has since on Saturday night ( 14th April, 2018) become a subject of discussion and public ridicule on social media following his over-sized suit appearance on the red carpet at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
