Singer, Sista Afia has expressed doubts about Sarkodie agreeing to associate with her “small brand”.
She indicated that although she is aware of how the rapper is receptive and willing to support the growth of the career of other artistes, she has fear if the rapper will be willing to associate with her young brand or even have a feature with him.
According to her, Sarkodie has been in the industry for far too long and has been recognized for several exploits in putting music in Ghana “on the map” and that has made him untouchable.
“Sarkodie has been in this industry for so long a time and built a very respectable and solid brand that makes it hard to touch him. Although I know he’s been very receptive to a number of young talents and has a very good heart especially for the female musicians, my fear is whether he would want to associate with the young brand I’ve built or accept a feature from me,” Sista Afia said while speaking to NYDJ.
She however, indicated that with time, she will overcome her fears and approach the rapper for a feature.
Sista Afia is famed for songs like ‘jeje’, Are you ready and has featured artistes like Shatta Wale and Medikal since she joined the music scene.
