Mr Opoku Kwarteng, the father of the late Dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns has revealed in a radio interview that he is not aware of any female singer by name Wendy Shay in Ghana.
Mr Kwarteng aka Starboy made this known during an interview with Tactical Shiifo on Brong Ahafo based radio station,Cheers 100.5 Fm last weekend on Cheers Entertainment monitored by Eastern region’s finest Kumikasa.com.
Starboy on whether the presence of Rufftown records’ new signee, Wendy Shay in the entertainment industry intimidates him, he responded no because he hasn’t gotten the time to listen to her songs and he slept off at a particular time he wanted to listen to her songs.
The host, Tactical Shifo then mentioned Wendy Shay’s songs like “Masakra” and Ebony’s “Hustle” but responded that he once heard the name but doesn’t know is a name of a female singer.
Starboy Kwarteng is currently out with a record label (Kwatengbony record label) to sell Ebony’s songs and to continue with her legacy as well.
