Londona doesn’t deserve Foklex ‘Radio Personality Of The Year’-Papa Franko

Ever since the winners of the 6th edition of Foklex Media Awards(Eastern Region) was announced,many people have expressed their opinions and views about it.

As to whether is good or not, that depends on the person’s opinion,others also think Foklex Media,organizers of this awards have not been fair to them since the nominations and winners are Nkawkaw-centered.

Some of the Presenters are very angry because, according to them, those who should have been awarded were not.Another concern they raised was that, how can two radio personalities share one award therefore,calling on the organisers to explain how they selected their winners.

One of the furious radio personalities in Eastern region is Papa Franko,the host of Sunrise Entertainment on sunrise fm 106.7, in an exclusive interview with Kumikasa.com,he said,it baffles his mind how Londona of Kingdom 101.9 fm won the overall award(Radio Personality Award).He said,the award for the ‘Radio Personality’ is given to outstanding media personalities whose work shows exemplary leadership towards building a great future for Eastern region’s media platform and is very influential both on social media and on radio. Am not saying Londona don’t qualify for all these, but under the year of review,Londona is nowhere near to DJ Mix of Emak fm,Doctor Prekese and Owoahene Acheampong of Bryt Fm respectively.

However,he added that, posterity will only judge the organizers,is up to them, they know best, we are working, they know the categories and criteria they used so is up to them; we are working hard and people have already given us awards.”..

When asked who he thinks deserves the radio personality of the year award,he replied, “Prekese is the best in that category and the second to him is Owoahene Acheampong.
