Fascinating gospel musician Jeffery Kwasi Boakye has won the “Gospel Artiste of the year” at Eastern Music Awards (EMA) held at Koforidua Center for national culture (CNC) on Saturday, December 7th 2019.
The night saw sterling performances from from young musicians hailing from the East with Jeffrey’s greatly unique performance being the top clasper.
Obaapa Gyamfuah who won the maiden edition of this category lost it to Sabina Sefa in 2018 with Minister Jeffrey breaking the jinx to become the first male to win that category in the history the Awards.
Jeffrey had a very tough competition from his comrades like Austin De Psalmist, 2fresh4God, Don Hagan, Mama Boat, Nana Aboagye, Nana Bema, Paa Sammy Twum, Prince Patricks, Nhyiraba Prince and Sir Aboah Offei.
