Nana Kofi Okraku Celebrates 10 Years In Radio

Radio Personality, Bismark Okraku popularly known as Nana Kofi Okraku is celebrating 10 years in the radio industry (August 2007 to August 2017)

Nana Kofi started his radio journey after he finished the Jilord Media World Radio, TV, & l.T Training Centre School with Top Radio for his first internship.

Right after his internship, Nana Kofi was employed by New Mercury FM as a Reporter on August 1, 2007. He reported on many trivia issues ranging from politics, entertainment, and sports. He got many appraisals from management for his works and was immediately promoted to become a producer of the station’s Morning Show.

Being on much demand, Nana Kofi joined Vision FM, Sunyani for a short period as a show producer when he was called by his former school (Media World) for a contract.

He moved to Wa, the Upper West Region of Ghana per the contract to train some workers of Plan Ghana and help establish an FM station. In total, he trained fifteen workers and is among the few experts who helped build Radford FM in the region.

After supervising the growth of Radford FM, he moved to Enyidado FM at Kasoa as a Broadcast Journalist and show producer.

Nana Kofi was later poached by Shadow Radio, Lashibi where is currently the General Manager.

He has achieved so much in his ten years in the industry and trained many people including Balu Mohammed (General Manager, Radford FM), Ohene Nana Kwame Osei (Montie fm) and Hon. Ridwan Abass (MP for Tumu Sisala District)
