Quarme Zaggy Jabs KiDi over ‘Thunder’

Quarme Zaggy has descended heavily on Ghanaian Artistes who want to sound like Nigerians and use their jargons in songs.

Sharing his opinion on why Nigerians did not cheer our Ghanaian Artistes during the Zylofon Concert he said

“Why will Nigerians cheer us when we do exactly what their people do, there is nothing to make us sound original when Ghanaian sings and someone asks is that Artiste a Nigerian”.

In an interview with Amansan Krakye on Radio Central in Cape Coast, Quarme Zaggy said

” It baffles me when I sit and listen to a Ghanaian song and you will hear the person forcing himself to sound like a Nigerian”.

He added that ” Sometimes in their songs they even use some jargons or cliché mostly familiar and used by Nigerians like ‘thunder fire you’ and co”.

He advised up and coming artistes to rather make use of our local dialect jargons in songs to make them sound original.
