Few days ago,we reported that Yemi Alade said she has stopped listening to Sarkodie’s songs.

She went on to say that Sarkodie is a great musician but not a great person owing to her claims that he doesn’t treat people with respect.

But in a sharp rebuttal, Sarkodie has said he does not really understand what Yemi Alade claims are.To the best of his knowledge, Sarkodie says he does not remember any invitation from Yemi Alade.

Sarkodie debunked rumours that he was avoiding Yemi Alade because of some reasons including money.

He disclosed that he often features in the songs of others free of charge especially when the song is good and he likes it.

According to Sarkodie, he has not listened to the audio containing Yemi Alade’s claims but he has seen the story on some news portal.

He averred that much is involved in featuring in someone’s music; and that has got to do with time and talent.

Therefore, there can be delays in his dealing with other musicians; and this could possibly be Yemi Alade’s case.

He also touched on a similar case with Ivorian superstar, Freddy Meiway.

Sarkodie explained that he needed much time to come up with good lyrical content for Mieway’s song hence his delay.

He therefore apologized to the Ivorian music guru for his inability to meet the time frame which Meiway wanted the song.

“Who would not want to do a collabo with Freddy Mieway. He is one of the best musicians anyone would want to work with,” he said.

Sarkodei further announced that his 2017 Rapperholic concert will come with big surprises which fans should look forward to.
