Renowned radio presenter of Joy Industries, Nana Kwasi Boakye popularly known on radio as Prof Kay, has cautioned Ghanaian musicians to stop blaming DJs and bloggers for promoting foreign music but rather should sincerely work on building a good brand.

In a conversation with Kumikasa.com, Prof Kay described Ghanaian musicians as lazy and unprofessional because according to him they don’t research, lack creativity,branding and always follow trends.

“Its your investment and you Need to strive and make it work .Nothing good comes easy and ask yourself when did Payola come ? Its came years back and every successful artiste has once payed to be hyped” -Prof Kay explained

He further added that, ” a blogger uses credits and you expect them to invest in you just like that ? At least just give them something to motivate them to push you more and you say no . I am not a DJ but as a presenter I will hype your brand if well motivated agree with me or not” – Said Prof Kay
