Television Stations Reject ‘Akua Donkor’ Music Video By Ked2besi

In Ghana here,every TV station has a format they adhere to. It has to do with the kind of content that suits its core target.

Ked2besi is going through hell as his music video for his anticipated song “Akua Donkor” has been rejected by a number of Television stations in the country.

The latest song by the maltifarious high life artiste is titled “Akua Donkor’ featuring Akata Stone and Koo Kyei produced by Feelin Beatz has the content of the song displayed in the visuals making it difficult for television stations to show.

In the “Akua Donkor” music video directed by there were two ladies showing cleavage of their breasts and a shot that shows the ladies were half naked, so based on these scenes in the video, managements of the stations in the country said no to it. 

In an interview with Kumikasa.com,when asked why he released such video,he said “I know the channel programs are for the family and children in our community so I’m particularly aware about what to portray in my video,the video is not a bad video,I was just trying to connect the music video to the concept of the song”, Ked2besi divulged.
