Headman THEOPHILUS AYIKPAH of mafi Tsawula in central tongu Volta region is under treat.
On the 5th June 2017,unconfirmed information reached me indicate that, the pupil of Tsawula primary school were fighting over cup that someone has eaten gary inside without washing it.
This happens at the P six, and Edem Gabornu from P five and told those fighting over the said cup that, if they don’t know and break the cup, the Headman will die.
For me to get the root of the said story, on phone interview with one of the teacher at mafi Tsawula primary school,he confirmed to Ernest Gakpe that, that it is true as l head.
He said the school authorities are aware of the said comments made by Edem Gabornu.
According to him, the mother of the Headman AYIKPAH came to the school demanding that they the teachers should call Edem Gabornu, and in the present of her the boy confirmed to her that he made such a comment that, if (the cup wash the Headman THEOPHILUS AYIKPAH) will die,but but Edem continue is a joke.
But the mother of the Headman said such a comment can’t be a joke with a reasons that, her son AYIKPAH is not parts of the students fighting, secondly none of his son or daughter is not at the said school how can he would be the one should die if the cup wash?
So she gone home with anger and I know she is not happy with such a comment and I told my fellow teachers that this is what going on, and we should inform the school authorities. On the same day around 30.00 pm, I called the lady(Ayikpah’s mother) to tell her the authorities want to call the parents of the boy (Edem Gabornu) to see how best we can solve the problem, else she told me she is just entering the Ghana police service at mafi Adidome to report the matter to the police and I beg her to come back,quickly I personally informed the (PTA) Chairman and the headmistress of the school Mad Jennifer Martey to solve the case.
So the cup and the case is in under the authorities of the said town and the PTA for investigation.
According to GK Ayikpah a family member of the said story narret to me that the family is not happy with the threaten. According to the family, On the 5th may this year, there was a final funeral rites and burial ceremony at mafi Tsawula, that has given an opportunity to drivers and okara riders of the said environment to ride and drive recklessly.
The said Headman attention was drowned to the happening, so he therefore took a step together with some responsible citizens just to advise indicipline and decist from their act.
Quickly all the drivers and okara riders stop,suddenly a driver in charge of Toyota colora who was the last car that has pack just move the car backward and hinted the Headman and run away.
Quickly the Headman was rushed to Adidome Government Hospital, after which the Dr has declare the condition beyond his control to Regional Hospital at Ho for other treatments.
Meanwhile as at the time Headman has been admitted at Regional hospital, some people have been announcing him dead.
