The Media Is Part Of Our Inability To Represent Ghana Internationally – Joe Mettle

Ghanaian contemporary gospel musician, Joe Mettle has partly blamed the media for contributing to the country’s musician’s inability to make it international.

This he said is due to the several unsubstantiated negative publications made by the media about Ghanaian musicians.

According to Joe Mettle, controversial and untruth publications have compelled musicians outside the country he had wished to feature to withdraw to save their brand image and reputation.

“When somebody wants an artist to represent Ghana internationally, sometimes they check on them online, the things that have been written about them. Automatically, the people just pull away because they are like too much wahala; meanwhile, you see most of the stuff that you said about them are not even true and when you find out that they are not true, you never come back to fix it and it stay there,” he said.
