Fast rising reggae Dancehall artiste Adepa has stated she sees no female artiste doing dancehall music in Ghana although some Ghanaian female artistes have the looks and style for the genre, they are not doing Dancehall.

In an interview with Happy FM’s DJ Adviser and Kumikasa.com monitoring, Adepa said all acts are unique in their own way and that none can claim the title of queen because none of them is doing anything dancehall.

Commenting on the increasing spate of these beefs and their impact on the music industry, Adepa told DJ Adviser that, “I do not see any Dancehall Queen in Ghana. We can consider the male dancehall Acts because few of them are doing great, but for the female acts, there is not a single person who can claim that title because none of them is doing real dancehall.”.

“No disrespect to any female musician in Ghana but the truth hurts and I’m not here to beef anyone,I don’t see any female artiste doing pure dancehall music in Ghana”
