Seventeen Media Houses To Participate In The Maiden Edition

The Maiden Edition of the Eastern Region Media Excellence Awards – a much anticipated Corporate Event in the Region is set to cover Seventeen Media Houses out of the over Fifty Media Houses in the Region.

Mr. Joshua Tetteh, the PRO for this prestigious event said in a Press Release explaining the progress of the Program said, the team categorized the media Landscape into five major zones; thus the Koforidua Radio Zone, Kwahu Zone, Akim Zone and the Krobo Zone and others.

” A comprehensive survey was carried out in market places, Trotro’s, Bus Stops,Barbering Salons amongst others to enable the organizers come out with a less talked about nominations” he added.

In all about Ninety nominees will compete for the fifteen categories set for this year. He further admitted the team is a work in progress and have a bright thus, they wouldn’t hesitate to take inn constructive feedbacks to promote the Brand.

The Eastern Region one of Ghana’s richest Region has been without this kind of initiative for ages, thus the PRO made it clear in the statement ” we need every individual to help us promote the Eastern Media”

They are set to be held in Koforidua on 5 August at Linda Dor Plaza.
