High School to undertake a three year study as a Science Student; this is where the story changed.In Akumadan, she was discovered by Blue Ice Entertainment headed by Otoo of Otoo Comedy fame in 2019 and was known as “Spyci”.

Under Blue Ice Entertainment, Akania, then Spyci, released one song dubbed, “Be Pem” which literally means, Come And Hit.After the release, much was not heard from the then Spyci until in 2020 when the

news broke out that her contract under the label had been terminated and her name Spyci taken off by the label since it was the label that gave her that name.

AKANIA DID NOT GIVE UP! With the help of some few industry Giants from Kintampo ( Fearless Promotions, Falcon Music, etc.),She immediately rebranded, used her own Surname as her stage name and dished out a masterpiece, Something bigger, better and way touching than her previous song.

It was this masterpiece that announced her stay, dominance and uniqueness in the music world.

This song shot her off and opened several opportunities for her; She called that song, “Me Ba” .After the release of Me ba, Akania did not relent, she brilliantly did her own rendition (cover) of Jamaican Reggae/Dancehall Songstress, Koffee’s popular song, Rapture.Her version of Rapture shocked her fans, her fellow musicians and the entire music fraternity; indeed, “Rapture” paved the way even broader.She kept hitting stage after stage!
