Social Media is more powerful and valuable than Radio and TV – Kwesi Ernest

Kwesi Ernest, Chief Executive Officer of Media Excel Production, has emphasized the growing dominance of social media over traditional media, describing it as more powerful, effective, and valuable in today’s communication landscape.

According to him, social media has transformed how information is created, shared, and consumed, giving individuals and brands direct access to audiences without the limitations often associated with conventional media platforms.

He made these remarks during an interview with Kumi Kasa on Accra-based Max 89.7 FM’s entertainment programme, Showbiz Max. Kwesi Ernest noted that the interactive nature, speed, and wide reach of social media make it a critical tool for promotion and engagement, particularly within the entertainment industry, adding that media practitioners must adapt to the digital shift to remain relevant.
