Actor Anthony Woode has earned a nomination for Best Lead Actor at the Ghana Movie Awards 2026 for his performance as Kweku in the Nollywood suspense drama House 419.

Directed by Jide “JBlaze” Oyegbile and produced by Vincent Nwachukwu, the film features a notable ensemble cast including Stephen Odimgbe, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Chioma Nwosu, Kelechi Udegbe and JBlaze.

House 419 follows three struggling roommates living in a chaotic Lagos apartment whose lives spiral out of control after a sudden death, which exposes hidden secrets and a shocking truth.

Anthony Woode’s portrayal of Kweku has drawn praise for its emotional intensity and layered performance, earning him recognition in one of the most competitive categories.
