Aka Ebenezer, Clemento Suarez, Jeffrey Nortey Among Major Winners at Ghana Comedy Awards 2026

The 2026 Ghana Comedy Awards celebrated the outstanding achievements of Ghana’s comedy industry, with Aka Ebenezer emerging as the biggest winner of the night after being crowned Comedian of the Year.

Held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, the prestigious awards honoured comedians, actors, content creators, writers, media personalities, and other creatives whose contributions continue to shape and elevate comedy in Ghana.

Aka Ebenezer also picked up Comedy Actor of the Year (Movie/Skit), while Clemento Suarez enjoyed a remarkable night, winning both Comedy Theatre Act of the Year and Comic MC/Orator of the Year. Lekzy De Comic was named Standup Comedian of the Year, and dancehall icon Shatta Wale received the Alternative Comic Act of the Year award.
