The Ghana Fashion Excellence Awards is an event created to celebrate and honour the creativity, innovation, and talent within Ghana’s fashion industry. The maiden edition will provide a platform to recognize designers, entrepreneurs, fashion promoters, curators, brands, beauty professionals, and other key players who continue to contribute to the growth and development of the Ghanaian fashion industry.
The awards will feature 20 nomination categories, including Men Designer of the Year, Women Designer of the Year, Bridal Wear Designer of the Year, Suit Designer of the Year, Accessories Designer of the Year, Female Fashion Entrepreneur of the Year, Male Fashion Entrepreneur of the Year, Cultural Wear Designer of the Year, Male Fashion Promoter of the Year, Female Fashion Promoter of the Year, Fashion Curator of the Year, Best Fashion Brand of the Year, Youngest Female Designer of the Year, Youngest Male Designer of the Year, Fashion School of the Year, Hair Salon of the Year, Beauty Spa of the Year, Male TV Fashion Personality of the Year, Female TV Fashion Personality of the Year, and Fashion Exporter of the Year.
According to the organizers, nominees are required to provide specific information and materials for their participation. The requirements include the name of the company, selected nomination category, contact number, location address, region, full picture of the CEO, a short video of the shop, evidence of clients’ satisfaction, and the impact of the business or individual on society.
