Ahyiresu Odwira and Home-Coming 2026
The Ahyiresu Odwira and Home-Coming 2026 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 24th October 2026, at Ahyiresu Yeboakrom, located off the Aburi–Nsawam Road. The programme is expected to begin at 1:00 p.m. and will bring together members of the community, traditional leaders, families, friends and well-wishers to celebrate their heritage and strengthen communal bonds.
The event is being organised under the auspices of Yeboah Tintin Dwumana Abusa Ahyiresu, with the celebration highlighting the rich cultural traditions and heritage of the Ahyiresu community. Odwira is an important traditional occasion that provides an opportunity for people to reconnect with their roots, honour their history and celebrate the values handed down from one generation to another.
A key personality featured on the flyer is Nana Boamah Ntim, identified as Ahyiresuhene & Akuapem Anafo Wirɛmpɛhene. His presence adds traditional significance to the occasion, as the event seeks to promote unity, cultural pride and a strong sense of identity among the people. The home-coming aspect also provides an opportunity for those living outside the community to return home and participate in the festivities.
The celebration is sponsored by Nero’s Prime, with Homebase TV, Kumikasa, MC Desaint and Nak Graphix listed as media partners. With the combination of traditional leadership, cultural celebration and community participation, the Ahyiresu Odwira and Home-Coming 2026 promises to be a memorable occasion dedicated to heritage, togetherness and the spirit of coming home.
