Radio personality,Prince Kwesi Dadzie known as Mr Handsome has stated that he has regreted quitting Nkawkaw based radio-Agoo 96.9 fm.
Prince Kwasi Dadzie,who is still making impact in the radio industry said even though it was a difficult decision quitting Agoo fm,he has regreted leaving the station to Accra.
In an exclusive interview with one of the finest radio presenter in Eastern Region,K Lover,on Agoo 96.9 fm, he said “In fact,the decision of moving on came from the fact that I thought that I had reached my peak on Agoo fm but when i got to Accra my name was new to my listeners which was easy for me at all” he noted.
When asked if he would go back to work with Agoo FM if they approached him with a juicy offer, this was his response:”Am evening coming back to EIB,very soon,my fans will hear from me because am leaving Accra to Kwahu to work with EIB.”
Contrary to talks that he was poached by Top 103.1,Prince Kwasi Dadzie said that is not true.Prince Kwasi Dadzie emphatically stated that he was not poached to Top fm.
Mr Handsome started his successful radio career in the late 90s.When working in Tachiman,he met Omanhene Kwabena Asante and Eddie Ray which he followed them to Kumasi.
In 2002, he went to Ashh FM as after drive presenter (and sometimes the drive) and hosting the weekend showbiz programme. He was Programs Manager/drive time and host in 2003 at Sekyere FM in Efigyasi till 2005 and later moved to Boss FM.He moved to Takoradi in 2003 to host the Ayekoo drive at Kyzz FM, then went back home to look for a station to work with because the salary was small and the CEO was not ready to sign a contract with him.
He later joined Agoo FM 103.5FM now Starr FM but I had to move to Nkawkaw to help lift the other subsidiary of the EIB network.Currently, Prince Kwasi Dadzie who is affectionately called Mr. Handsome by his listeners later moved to Accra joining Top 103.1 as the host of Top Power Drive.
