UK Based afrobeat artiste Jvmmie Jae has shown gratitude to the organizers of the Ghana Music Awards UK for recognising his hard work. The singer who was recently featured in GucciMello’s Akwadaa Bone song which was produced by Jvmmie Jae was nominated for the UK Based Afrobeats/ Afropop Song of the year
Jvmmie JAE(Ju-me Jay) real name David Gerald Asante Jumah is a London based
Ghanaian Afrobeats/Afropop, Songwriter,Rapper and Record Producer.
Born and raised in Accra the Capital of Ghana.
During his primary school days,he developed the love and passion for music through singing along and performing to the songs of BUK BAK,Samini,Antwi ne Antwi and few others to mention.
He recorded his first demo while in High school Koforidua Secondary Technical School (Mmarima Mma) which spark a bit of controversies as he was an executive of the Scripture Union(SU) .
He went ahead to record his second demo which was well recieved by the students and got featured in the schools Video Mixtape.
He studied Computer Science and Business Management at the Wisconsin International University College in Accra, Ghana.
Jvmmie JAE is currently unsigned but had his debut single Too Bad produced by himself which gained a lot of attractions from the diaspora community and his home country Ghana. He has then been unstoppable in making great music.
He has Produced for few Ghanaian and international artistes such as Minister Taf,Guccimello from Drama Boys fame etc.
Jvmmie has collaborations with UK-based Ghanaian musicians and some of the fast rising artists from Ghana yet to be released.
According to Ghana Music Awards UK, the UK Based Afrobeats/ Afropop Song of the year is the artiste(s) adjudged by the academy.
