In a fashionable interview with Steve, he told Xpose news anchor, Quarshie Joshua that his main purpose to pen and produce “Koforidua Mayor” is to brand Kof – City in the movie and film industry. “As Koforidua is left over in the movie industry for many years, People say we are not creative and incapable of writing and producing movies and that is why I decided to write and produce this movie to boycott those thoughts”. Gyamfi said. He further enlightened that the movie “Koforidua Mayor” tells the story of the city, the lifestyle and the living in Koforidua which shows the can do spirit of the citizens especially the youth. “This movie will fetch out many stars from Koforidua as the already known star, David Oscar, who is also a native of the City”. He assumed. Steve Gyamfi though is not well known in movie production but when it comes to music production, he is the chief of staff of the Eastern Region. He has been in the entertainment industry for about ten years but has now decided to troupe light on Kof – City and the region as large in movie production.
