Musician Duo De-Exit , has come under attack from a section of Koforidua ladies for demeaning them.
De-Exit who just released a song titled ‘Makola Baby’ where they used a line that suggests that the Koforidua flowers are no more, describing Kumasi ladies beautiful like followers ,thus, using the term ‘Kumasi Flowers’.This did not sit down well with a section of Koforidua ladies and some well-meaning Ghanaians who think music sells a message and that the artiste, considering how matured the grou is in the industry should know better.
Some of these Koforidua ladies on social media haven’t taken this line in the song lightly calling on De-Exit to do the right thing by apologizing to Koforidua ladies because they still deserve that tagg ‘Koforidua Flowers’.
The song “Makola Baby” is one of the most played songs on radio currently. The song since its release few weeks ago is receiving rotations on all the big radio stations in the country.
We will urge music Duo De-Exit to be decorous with their choice of lyrics and show some maturity that the younger ones can learn from.
