Legendary Ghanaian Gospel Icon Piesie Esther has been nominated for seven awards in seven different categories with her hit song ‘Waye Me Yie’ in VGMA23.
Although she has other hit songs like ‘Empare Me’ and ‘Ziba Beko’ to her credit, she has never been nominated in VGMA for the past years.
The ‘Waye Me Yie’ hitmaker at Accra Fm With the host Nana Romeo on work and happiness show on 21st March 2023 said she never thought this song would beat her expectations this way and all Glory be to God and as the saying goes ” He makes all things beautiful in His own time”, she believes this is the doing of the Lord.
She has over 3.5 million views on YouTube and still performing both on local and international platforms.
She also pleaded with her fans and loved ones to vote for her so she can win the awards.
