Over the years, many celebrated Ghanaian musicians have changed their names to either Suite their act or to position themselves for the international market as names are impactful on success or otherwise of an art.
Change of name is seen as a strategic way to re-position an artiste brand and to stay afresh in the minds and on the lips of patrons and fans – Afro-Pop/Reggae artiste Tito in the same vain has re-branded from Tito to Nana Tito.
When quizzed why he changed his name, Tito now “Nana Tito” divulged that,
“Well, it was rebranding … I wanted to explore more into the world . I wanted to make my songs known by the bigger markets, and as a new artist I thought that the name Tito was shoddy for the international market . Later on I decided to get a name that will at least cause news , the only name that could do that was Nana Tito because of my root”.
Nana Tito is currently working with a new management and a new record label by name SKYROON ENTERTAINMENT.He will release is first song this week dubbed ” Enfa Yen Ho”.Keep reading this space as we keep updating you on musician “Nana Tito”
