Eastern Region Musicians Needs Push Not Awards-Fiifi Alfalfah (O.K.E) a

With an indisputable theory, the Eastern Music Awards-EMA will remain the ‘biggest’ and most-respected awards scheme in Eastern region’s entertainment industry.

Pro to the Eastern Music Awards, Sensational and versatile Agoo fm’s radio personality and the award winning drive time personality of the year (Eastern Region), has taken a swipe at the Hi5 Production,organisers for the upcoming Eastern Music Awards.

According to the award winning drive time personality,artistes in Eastern region needs push not awards,thus,there is no need.He also said,drivers of the airwaves are the reason for Eastern region artistes not travelling beyond the boundaries of the region as they are suppose to do.

“We’ve so many radio stations in the region but how many DJ’s or presenters play songs from Eastern region ?. We often hear the foreign songs and by doing this, they help in promoting those songs but our own artistes in the region they forget about them,” said Fiifi Alfalfah (O.K.E)

O.K.E also refuted the idea that Hi5 Production should put good measures into place to help push artistes inside the region.

“Some DJ’s and presenter expect artiste to pay them before they make their song a hit but the question is… Do this foreign artists pay them for making their songs a hit in our country?”Fiifi Alfalfah (O.K.E) quizzed.

According to the “Akwaaba” drive time host,”these are problems thwarting the progress of artistes in Eastern region therefore there is the need for Hi5 to work against this before organising the awards.This will help to push our artistes”, O.K.E stated

However,he stated that, if we can’t mention 5 top artistes in Eastern region,then there is no need for the Eastern Music Awards.
