In an interview by JoyNews’ MzGee with each of the parents, the father asserted that he was not fond of his son’s hairstyle. However, Mr Arthur is profoundly happy about Kwesi’s simpleness compared to other secular artistes.
He further went on to distinguish his son from other musicians who wear earrings and branded with series of tattoos.
Kwesi Arthur’s father reason has to do with his background and church. He’s had a chat with him to cut his hair. He said,
“The only funny thing with Kwesi that I now have a challenge is, is the hairstyle… I don’t like it”
In another segment with his grandmother, her neighbours earlier condemned her for not raising Kwesi Arthur well because he’d decided to pursue music. They later trooped to their house after Kwesi was nominated for a BET award.
