Samuel Kwadwo Twum popularly called Biggie from Akyem Kukurantumi, has declared his intention to contest the parliamentary Primaries on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Abuakwa North Constituency
The grassroots man who was born and raised in the Constituency schooled at CRIG school in Akyem Tafo in an interview with the media disclosed that his intention was in line with achieving the affirmative action and encouraging the grassroots to take up leadership positions
He alleged that grassroots in leadership positions mostly performed better adding that he had the qualities
Mr Samuel Twum, said his plans for the Constituency was to address the issues of unemployment especially for the youth through the provision of different skills set to offer sustainable employment
He said, providing jobs and support for the youth and grassroots would be accompanied with mentoring. And the people of Abuakwa North who are already into identifiable job and needed support for expansion and sustainability would be prioritised while plans would be advance for creating new job
Mr Samuel Twum, who declared his intention publicly emphasised the need for the NPP to win the next General election in the Constituency said, the party needed a grassroots person, strong person like himself in the contest to win straight forward battle against the NDC
He finally called on the NPP delegates to endorse his candidature
