Popular Takoradi based Entertainment Pundit and Blogger, Boga Ali Hashim has gone hard on Artists from Takoradi for being ungrateful to DJs and Presenters in Takoradi.
According to him, times changed some five years ago, when DJs and Bloggers in Western Region decided to promote their own when they realised, their artists were doing good songs that could match Nationwide.
“We had no option than to push them because, they were doing songs that can compete nationwide” he stated, but how have they paid us? he asked,
Even when a Blogger has spent time to research and do good stories for an artist, just sharing it on social media becomes a problem for the musician the article seek to promote, ” ask the Djs, that how many times have artists even called to thank a DJ for promoting him on air” he questioned?
He was reacting to comments by some Takoradi Musicians who took to social media lamenting that Takoradi media guys do not support them.
He advised them to change their attitude of condemning the media and rather appreciate the little things they do to support them.
He revealed this on Takoradi based radio, Sky Power radio on the Oilcity Showbiz Review hosted by Jaa Tee.
