Out of about 55 music artistes who filed in their music freestyle videos to stand a chance of being auditioned in order to participate in the ‘ eastern mcee ‘ music reality show, 16 most skilled and ready to compete were selected to begin the long awaited reality show in the Eastern Region .
The selected, Williams Oppong (Obey), Emmanuel Dokyi ( kobby king), Gideon Mante ( Spy6 ) , Nischort Asamoah ( Nathinho ), Mohammed Abdul Rahaman (King Sage) , Severa Quansah ( Sh atty Banks ) , Emmanuel Affum (Farms) and Michelle.
Also, Milkyway , Kutusie , Tish, Kobby Geezy ( Enoch Marfo ) , Sir Abboah Offei , Don Bee, Addikhama and Kronicles come from various parts of the Eastern Region.
The auditioning which took place in Koforidua over the weekend was organized by ‘eastern mcee’ committee who are workers for Starr TV , in collaboration with four music producers in the Eastern Region, Zadour Music, Oppong on da beat, Drumboi , Vex beat z a nd K. Joe.
Also the reality show is sponsored by First Delta Herbal Clinic based in Koforidua.
The 16 who made it through the auditioning are made up of rap artistes, afropop artistes, dancehall artistes, high life artistes and gospel singers.
