Musician Blast Event Organisers,Promoters And Awards Schemes In Eastern Region

Since last year, ever since the nominee list of Darling Eastern Music Awards was released, many people have expressed their opinions about it.

As to whether is good or not, that depends on the said person’s opinion, but fast rising artiste Papa Kheelo think the organizers of this awards have not been fair to musicians outside Koforidua since most of the nominees are from the capital city-Koforidua neglecting talents outside Koforidua.

In an interview with Kumikasa.com,Papa Kheelo was very angry because, according to him, those who should have been nominated were not.

Another concern Papa Kheelo raised was that,Event organisers should not think Eastern region is all about Koforidua.

“We have nice venues outside Koforidua where entertainment programs can be organise there but event organisers always centered their events and occasions to only Koforidua”-Papa Kheelo disclosed.

Papa Kheelo however added that “I think is laziness, because events organisers have to take their time hunting talents and touring all corners in the region but in Eastern region here we don’t see that.Aside that I can see event organisers don’t do research.
