Host of Koforidua based Bryt FM’s drive time show “Gyaso Gyaso”,Doctor Prekese says radio presenters in the Greater Accra region are not better than radio presenters outside Accra.
Doctor Prekese made this known in an interview with Bryt FM’s Jah Solo on the ‘Joy Daddy Showbiz Arena’ show. He said, “When given equal opportunity, presenters in Accra aren’t any better than those in other regions,we have presenters in other regions who does better than radio presenters in Accra”
According to Doctor Prekese, he said, “Radio is about numbers. To be the best means you must have the numbers listening to you,and we have a lot of radio stations outside Accra with more listeners than some radio stations in Accra.
Doctor Prekese advised owners of radio stations that “modern logistics must be put in place and if workers are indeed relevant, there should be the provision of allowances and accommodation to make their lives contented so that they will not move to Accra”.
