Lil Win Clears Air On His Beef With Patapaa

Ghanaian comedian and musician, Kwadwo Nkansah affectionately called Lil Win has refuted claims that he has a long standing beef with Patapaa.

According to him, a lot of jabs came his way when the news came out that he wanted to take the shine of ‘then’ up-coming Patapaa but no one wanted to know the truth about the issue and he decided not to comment because he felt offended.

While all this allegations where coming at him, the ladder hit maker made no comment but speaking in an interview on showbiz Xtra on Luv FM, Lil win denied ever having any beef with Patapaa and that his intention for calling the artiste to do a remix with him was in good accord.

“My manager called Patapaa for the collaboration but I don’t know what they discussed,so I took it upon myself to talk to him (Patapaa) myself so I called him very early in the morning and he was very happy upon noticing is me, so I told him that I have heard upon my arrival from the state that he has a new song called one corner so he should therefore come for us to do the remix of the song but I want to call it my own, it will be Lil win X Patapaa but am sure he didn’t understand what the X means because I was going to pay the cost of producing a different beat and for shooting a video to the song so it should be Lil win featuring Patapaa because if it goes the other way round it will mean he paid for the production and he accepted to do it”

Contributing to the topic on the show ‘THE EFFECT OF HAVING A BEEF WITH ANOTHER ARTIST’, Lil win said he does not believe beef between artiste helps promote them or tarnish their image because he remembers a lot of issues that could have brought him down but he has still remain as he is, to him hard work and blessings from God is what promotes someone.

“If beef with artiste is what tarnishes peoples image then am not part of it, because what happened when I pulled a substance at Ghana meets 9ja that raged argument could have brought me down but am still Nkansah lil win, look at my issue with Patapaa and Kwaku Manu but am still lil win.” He said as monitored by Kessben media.

Lil win when asked why a lot of people prefer to beef with others he said a lot of these artistes thrive on beef with other artiste but within the test of time they gradually fade away.

Lil win is set to organize his annual salah program dubbed lil win and friends that brings together top artiste in Ghana at the Kumasi city mall on June 16.
