The Western Region of Ghana which Pride itself as the Root of Modern Day Comedy is set to take over the Mantle with a Massive and highly anticipated Comedy Show dubbed ‘West Side Comedy Night’ Slated for 1st July 2017.
According to Organizers of the Event, the Comedy show will put together all the top Comedy Talents in the Region on one big stage to prove the worth of the Region in terms of Stand up comedy in the Country.
Speaking to Asaasewura Santana Jnr a Popular Radio Presenter in Takoradi, who happens to be the CEO of Gilbee Entertainment, he stated he has a strong believe the region can Boost Comedy in the country with talents from the Western If the needed attention is given to them ‘We at Gilbee Entertainment Believes with a good projection, branding, hype and support, our comic talents can take over Ghana by a Storm, this Comedy night seeks to present the talents to the people to gather home base support, acceptance and a national appeal’ Santana Stated.
The West Side Comedy show has put together the Creme De la Creme of Comedians in the Region, ranking from the Headline comedian Komedian Togo Borga, Indo’s of Adom Tv Srekwakwa 3 fame, Nana Guantanamo Bay (Tadi Lil Wyn) Nii Quartey, Kwodwophreestyle, Goddy, Opana POP and a host of others.
The Ephraim International Band has fully been secured to play live alongside the Comedy and other Popularly West Side Musicians billed to Rock the Night at the Takoradi Jubilee Park (Heritage Grounds)
The West Side Comedy Night Happens to be the First of its Kind in the Region, put together by Gilbee Entertainment In Collaboration with Kyzz FM and Supported by Mphase Gh!
