Celebrated Actress,Entrepreneur and Television Personality Abena Ghana known in real life as Cecilia Konamah has been honoured by the United Nations Economic and Social Council at (ACCP AWARDS) for her outstanding contribution to sustainable development in Ghana and Africa as a whole.
The recognition comes as a result of her endless efforts and campaigns towards helping to maintain a cleaner, safer and a much better society for all.

Abena Ghana who was honoured by the recognition dedicated her honorary award to all her fans and more especially dignitaries, chiefs and people of the Brong Ahafo Region. She expressed her gratitude to the Chiefs and People of the region and promised to as always, contribute her quota to ensuring a better society for the people of the Brong Ahafo Region and Ghana as a whole.

Abena Ghana is the host of Abugyen, a controversial sex education programme on Taabea television. Abugyen airs every Friday between 10:30pm and 12am and is repeated on Sundays at 11pm.
