About Ceekay
Ghanaian Afrobeats artiste Ceekay is known in real life as Henry Tawiah Appiah. He was born on October 16 at Kwadaso, Kumasi. He hails from Donyina in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
He had his basic education at the Forces Basic School, Uaddara Barracks at Bantama, Kumasi; later had admission at the Armed Forces Senior High Technical School at the same place.
His dream for music started when he was in class 5, that’s when he realized he could write songs but became a better songwriter when he was in the senior high school as he looks up to the likes of Daddy Lumba, Kwabena Kwabena, and Davido.
