De Dons Family Foundation Spent the New Year with the Less Privileged, widows, widowers and persons with disabilities in Asuom and its environs
January 1 is the first day of the year in the Gregorian Calendar. This day is known as New Year’s Day since the day marks the beginning of the year and; the day was coincidentally set aside to officially launch the 10,000 Exercise Books Project of De Dons family.
De Dons Family Foundation is a group made up of about 60% natives of Asuom and 40% youth across the country, and a proud young and gracious group that endeavour to help the less privilege in our community. The group made donations wealth 10,000ghc to the less privileged, widows , widowers and persons with disabilities.
The item included wheelchairs to two young persons suffering from a long period mobilities in Akyem Abaam and Asuom respectively.
A fully packed hamper and undisclosed cash amount were also given to the two young persons with disabilities, widows, widowers who attended the program to put smiles on their faces during the festive occasion.
Osabarima Ofosuhene Apenteng II – Asuomhene, who chaired the function, advised the Executives and members of De Dons Family Foundation to stay united to give meaning to their motto: “Unity and Progress”.
