Multiple award-winning hip hop artiste, Stunner Bizzle has stated that Hip-hop does not have a future in Ghana from how he looks at things.
He went on to emphasise that this generation of Ghanaian artistes have no business pursuing hip-hop music because the genre has no future in our part of the world, adding “Even though hip-hop is our identity as Africans, we don’t pay much attention to the genre as Africans”
Stunner Bizzle made this shocking statement in an interview on Brong Ahafo based radio Shalom FM last weekend.
He however added that, Ghanaians are not smart enough to understand Hip-hop music. But he promised to stay true with his origin by doing hip hop throughout his music career.
Stunner Bizzle again urged Ghanaians to support and pay attention to him and all hip hop artistes in Ghana because Hip Hop is the identity of Africans. He also advised his colleague hip hop musicians never to give up.
Stunner Bizzle won best album of the year in this years Brong Ahafo Music Awards with his “Refuse To Quit” album. The album was made of 10 songs namely DREAM,STREET THUG,OLUWA,ENVY,SIKA DURO,COULDN’T,DONT JUDGE ME,DHOPE,ALONE,DREAMS
