As the world prepares for the historic 2026 FIFA World Cup taking place across the USA, Canada, and Mexico from June 12 to July 19, 2026, Ghanaian music stars in the diaspora have united to release what is already being hailed as Ghana’s biggest cheer anthem for the Black Stars!

Titled “BlackStars in G’ Major”, the powerful anthem is spearheaded by visionary music executive and creative force His Royal Grey Chief Charles, bringing together 11 Ghanaian artistes based in the United States with one mission — to ignite patriotism, inspire the Black Stars, and unite Ghanaians worldwide behind the national team.

The song draws inspiration from the legendary 1988 highlife classic “Highlife in G Major” by the iconic Gemann — a timeless masterpiece that still resonates strongly with generations of Ghanaians across the globe.

This massive collaboration was curated through the combined efforts of His Royal Grey Chief Charles alongside Don Dee of Ghana Music Awards USA, Hashim of Ghana Entertainment Awards USA, and powered by Dr. G’Love (Gemann).

🎤 Featured artistes on the anthem include:

• His Royal Grey Chief Charles
• Felix Owusu
• Wutah Kobby
• Exdoe
• Kwasi (of Ruff N Smooth fame)
• Quame Newking
• C-Burn
• Rev. Graceman
• Rossey
• Duke Thomas

“BlackStars in G’ Major” is more than just a song — it is a cultural movement, a celebration of Ghanaian pride, and a powerful global show of support for the Black Stars as they prepare for football’s biggest stage.

From Accra to New York, Kumasi to Toronto, and everywhere Ghanaian pride lives — this anthem is set to become the official soundtrack of Ghana’s 2026 World Cup journey.
