It is a known fact how established artistes take huge sums of money just to feature on songs by emerging artistes.

Fameye in particular has been sighted in several money taking allegations whilst Medikal has vowed not to do free collabos again.

However, one of Central Region’s finest rapper, Kwame Yogot aka the rap comedian has revealed that he didn’t pay a dime to feature them on his songs.

“When Medikal heard my song Yeeboili he really loved it so personally he requested to do a verse on the song”

“As for Fameye he sent me a message on Facebook which I hadn’t even seen, until I sent him my song wosi ka y3 s3n”

“I sent him the song on Friday evening and by Sunday morning he had already done and sent me his verse through my email”

“I was there when he called me and said why, don’t I like his verse on my song, but I told him I didn’t even know he is done with his part.

“I think when it comes to doing collabos with established artistes your connection with them counts as well as the quality of your song production”.

Kwame Yogot was speaking in an exclusive interview with Amansan Krakye of Radio Central fame in Cape Coast.
