Female Dancehall act, Ebony Reigns has disclosed that she relishes winning the coveted Artiste of the year award early next year because she has really worked hard.
She becomes the second after Tamale-based Fancy Gadam to declare that they will take the award from the reigning Artiste of the Year, Joe Mettle.
Ebony who speaking to Accra-based Joy News’ Doreen Avio after her Corporate Album launch said “First of all, I shall win. Amen. Second of all, I am hopeful. May the best win. I feel like I deserve it.
We’ve worked really hard this year. If I win, it is out of merit…Even if I don’t, Joe [Mettle] said, as children of God we get things we don’t deserve”.
