With just 24 days to the elections, Edgar Kwaku Asamoah Boateng, also known as KB, has successfully launched “Operation Code: 24-Hour Economy” in Abuakwa North to strengthen support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC). The initiative, which kicked off today on Nopras FM after being launched two days ago, is being implemented across 21 information centers in the area, engaging the local community and mobilizing strong backing for the NDC.

The launch was spearheaded by Hon. Kudjo Adukpo, former Eastern Regional Secretary of the NDC and a current member of the Mobilization, Security, and Operations Committee for the NDC in the Eastern Region. He was supported by Hon. Conrad Nyarko, the Abuakwa North Constituency Deputy Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress in Abuakwa North. Together, they are driving this strategic campaign to rally votes for the NDC, its presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama, Vice Presidential Candidate Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, and the Parliamentary Candidates across the country.

“Operation Code: 24-Hour Economy” is in line with the NDC’s broader policy of establishing a 24-hour economy to increase productivity, create jobs, and stimulate growth across key sectors.

The NDC’s 24-Hour Economy Policy focuses on:
1. Expanding Employment Opportunities: Promoting 24-hour operations in sectors such as manufacturing, retail, and hospitality to create additional job shifts and reduce youth unemployment.
2. Boosting Local Businesses: Enabling small businesses to extend working hours, increasing productivity and supporting the growth of local enterprises.
3. Enhancing Healthcare and Public Services: Extending operating hours for hospitals and essential services, ensuring citizens have access to healthcare, emergency response, and critical services at any time.
4. Strengthening Security Infrastructure: Reinforcing security measures, such as increased street lighting and police presence, to ensure safety during nighttime operations.
5. Developing Transport and Infrastructure: Improving transportation networks to support 24-hour movement, ensuring seamless flow of goods and people.

This campaign in Abuakwa North aims to directly connect with the community, address local concerns, and promote the NDC’s vision for a dynamic, round-the-clock economy. KB, Hon. Adukpo, and the Communications Department of the NDC in Abuakwa North are using local platforms like Nopras FM to engage constituents and explain how the 24-Hour Economy Policy will bring tangible benefits to their lives.

With Hon. Adukpo’s extensive knowledge of the region and Hon. Nyarko’s insights into Abuakwa North, their discussion this morning covered how the 24-Hour Economy can unlock new growth and development in the area.

The NDC is committed to a progressive, 24-hour economy, which will transform Abuakwa North and the entire country.
