Meet Highlife/Afro Pop superstar Odame Richard Adu musically known as Dausty Era from Suhum in the Eastern region of Ghana.
Dausty Era schooled in the Eastern Region from basic level to Senior High School.
During his time at basic school, Dausty Era was singing as part of the school entertainment icons. Furthermore, he developed his musical talents through learning during his Secondary School days at Manya Krobo Senior High School.
Years ago when he appeared on the scene he gave his name as Drama, but along the line made a new name for himself as his music started to cross boarders.
The artiste in the year 2019 changed his stage name to Dausty Era from Drama. This was as he reflected the change in his social media accounts.
Dausty is known for his popular songs like ‘Dome Pr3ko” , “Rain On Me” , Makoma which features rapper Stay Jay and many other songs to his credit.
Having watched a number of artists before him come up and reap the fruits of their labour, Dausty Era knows that remaining focused, consistent and faithful is all he needs to reach the top.
