MTN thrills hundreds at another refreshing Nine Lessons & Carols service

The Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols is organised annually to usher MTN stakeholders and customers into the Christmas season to share in the joy of the season.

It has undoubtedly become one of the most anticipated events for many MTN customers before the real Christmas Holidays kick off.

The 2018 Nine Lessons & Carols, which came off at the Fantasy Dome at La Trade Fair, Accra, was hugely patronized by hundreds of people.

The show, which started around 6:00pm, ended at about 11:00pm with the audience asking for more, as one artiste after the other, churned out amazing songs.

Key artistes who performed on the night were Patapaa a.k.a Patapeezy, MTN Hitmaker stars, Kuami Eugene, Freda Rhymes and Koo Ntakra, and gospel music artiste Nacee.

Other artistes include Adina, Kwesi Arthur and Kaakyire Kwame Appiah, and gospel singer Joe Mettle who rocked the stage.

Whiles many of the artistes performed the single most popular Christmas carols, ‘Jingle Bells’ and other Christmas songs; they also performed some of their best tunes leaving the audience excited.

Justice Amoah, known in showbiz as Patapaa, filled the Dome with ecstasy when he led the choir to perform his own interesting version of ‘Jingle Bells.’
He also wowed the audience the more with some amazing dance skills.

The ‘Woara’ hit maker, Kwesi Arthur, did not disappoint, as he got the crowd to single along some of his popular tunes.

There was also a great performance from the group known as ‘Kwan Pa’, who sing what they call ‘Palmwine Music’.
The group’s uniquely made local version of a very popular English Christmas song, got the crowd singing along and loving every bit of it.

Rev. Gideon Danso of the Empowerment Worship Centre, who was the guest preacher, reminded the audience that “Christmas is about Jesus Christ and the season is about making room for Jesus Christ in one’s life”.
